Print made Simple by B&D

You may recall in last month's e-News that we gave you a chance to use our online ordering system Storefront? For those that followed the link, you will have been able to place an order for a Business Card in a matter of seconds. In this issue we'd like to explain further how the system works and how it could benefit your business.

The following are typical products that can be included:

Variable Data items: Business Cards / Postcards / Letterheads / Compliment Slips / Mailers - the basic design remains static but the content can change according to name, location and brand.

Static items: Brochures / Leaflets / Promotional items / Point-of-sale - these products can be held in stock in our warehouse and called-off as required by a branch/depot.

Typically, the following businesses are ideal candidates to benefit from Storefront: Hotel Groups / Insurance Companies / Plant Hire Companies / Leisure (Gyms) / Estate Agents plus many more. In all cases, Storefront enables centralised purchasing through an online ordering system. Log-in is through a customised and secure branded portal which provides instant access to a catalogue of products. This process significantly reduces origination costs and encourages 'just-in-time' ordering.

The results are a cost-effective and highly efficient marketing resource that is available at the touch of a button, yet still maintains brand identity and ultimately will save you money - click on the link below to try it out for yourself!

Paula Ploughman strides out for Parkinsons! B&D employee Paula Plowman is taking part in the Edinburgh Marathon on 22nd May in aid of Parkinsons UK. A very worthy cause and anyone who wishes to add their own donation can click here.

Cook discovers Australia! We give a big welcome to our newest employee, Jonathan Henderson, who joins our Digital Print department. He will be operating our high speed Xerox press, which produces direct mail as well as manuals, catalogues, NCR sets and more. Click here for more information about our mailing services.

Jonathan replaces Steve Cook who is Australia-bound; he has decided to take his print experience down under to bask in the sunshine of Melbourne. Are we jealous? Not a bit of it, though I'm sure we'd all love the chance to wind up the Aussies about The Ashes first-hand! Good luck Steve!
