PDF Settings
To obtain the best results from your PDF they need to be saved as PDF/X-1a. This flattens any transparency and reduces the chances of something not printing as you intended. Creating a PDF to these settings is straightforward - instructions are shown below for users of Quark Xpress and Adobe InDesign.
